Police have released more details about a wreck that seriously injured a young woman Friday.

Investigators said 18-year-old Jason Casper was driving his Ford Focus westbound on Northern Pass Friday just before 3:30 p.m.

Officials said Casper drove past the stop sign and into the intersection of Northern Pass and Resler Drive.

At that same time, 35-year-old Donald Patterson was driving a Ford F-350 truck southbound on Resler, causing theĀ two vehicles to collide.

"All four of those people were transported to area hospitals. One of which did sustain and did suffer serious and life-threatening injuries," said Detective Mike Baranyay, spokesperson for the El Paso Police Department.

The 16-year-old passenger of the Ford Focus suffered life-threatening injuries.

There was no word on her condition.

"At this point, it's too early to determine who's at fault, or if speed or alcohol are factors in this crash," said Baranyay.
