EL PASO, Texas —
The accident happened on the 5300 block of Westside Drive near Lee Shannon Road around 12:45 p.m.
Police said when they arrived they found firefighters treating a female and a male who were both inside a gold Chevy Monte Carlo.
The woman, who was the driver, died at the scene, but emergency crews took the man to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The car was flipped when authorities arrived, police said.
There was no word on the condition of the man. Police have not released the identity of the victims.
