Woman demands cash in note during bank robbery

EL PASO, Texas —

Bank of the America in northeast El Paso was robbed Wednesday.

FBI investigators are looking for a Hispanic woman who they said is in her late 40s.

The robbery happened around 11:55 a.m. at the Bank of America at 9101 Dyer.

Investigators said the woman handed a bank teller a yellow note that read, "Give me money, I have gun." The robber than showed the teller a gun.

The woman got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen heading toward Hondo Pass.

Investigators said she was last seen wearing a brown/maroon scarf that she had wrapped around her head.

Witnesses told investigators the robber had a scar on her hairline and bruising on her left hand.
