El Paso police arrested a woman after she crashed into three parked cars on Edgemere Boulevard and Sunburst Drive in East El Paso, El Paso Police said.

The accident happened at around 2 a.m. Monday.

According to officers, the woman was driving east on Edgemere Boulevard when she hit three parked cars and lost a tire.

She continued driving on three tires and managed to turn the street corner before finally stopping, El Paso Police said.

Witnesses said the driver left the accident scene, but came back with her mother.

Officers performed a field sobriety test and said the driver failed the test.

She was arrested and booked into jail, police said.

Although the driver did leave the scene, police said she will not be charged with a hit-and-run because she did return.
