EL PASO, Texas —

Snowfall continues in the borderland. Local government entities, businesses, schools and more have taken precautions for the potentially hazardous conditions and are delaying opening for business Friday, or closing entirely.

The following locations will be closed or beginning the business day late Friday Jan. 4. The list will be updated as more closures are announced. Follow @KFOXTraffic and @KFOX14 on Twitter for the latest updates.

Children's Kingdom Learning Center will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dona Ana Community College campuses will begin classes at noon

Dona Ana County government offices will open at 10 a.m.

Dona Ana County Magistrate Court - two hour delay. Jurors should report at 10:30 a.m. instead of 8:20 a.m.

El Paso city offices will open at 10 a.m. Friday.

El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau will open at 10 a.m.

El Paso County Courthouse will open at 10 a.m.

El Paso Environmental Services Department is canceling recycling collections for Friday. They recommend for customers to wait until next pick up day for recycling collection. Household trash will be collected.

El Paso Housing Authority will open at 10 a.m.

El Paso Independent School District is on two-hour delayed opening for Friday

El Paso Veteran's Affairs office will open Friday at 10 a.m.

El Paso VA Healthcare System has rescheduled all Friday morning appointments.

El Paso Municipal court sessions scheduled from 7-8:30 a.m. Friday are cancelled.

Faith Christian Academy will be closed Friday

Fort Bliss: Only key and essential personnel should report for duty at 10 a.m. Friday.

Fort Bliss gate closures: JEB South. Remagen and IBCT north closed thru 9:00 p.m. Friday. Normal hours will resume on Monday Jan. 7.

Fort Bliss PX will maintain regular hours.

Gadsden Independent School District offices will be closed Friday.

Government Employees Credit Union branches, drive-thru facilities, and call center will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday.

Holloman AFB is telling personnel who live in Las Cruces, El Paso and mountainous areas that they don't have to report to work until noon Friday. Residents from on-base or Alamogordo must report at 8 a.m.,

Las Cruces city government offices will open at 10 a.m.

Las Cruces RoadRUNNER Transit and Dial-a-Ride, city of Las Cruces transport services will resume at 10 a.m. Friday.

Mesilla offices will open at 10 a.m. Friday.

New Mexico District Court will open at 9 a.m.

New Mexico State University campus will open at 10 a.m.

Project BRAVO offices in El Paso County will offer only limited services from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday

Public Libraries will open at 10 a.m.

Ready Set Grow Daycare and Learning Center will open at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Socorro city government offices will open at 10 a.m.

Socorro Independent School district will have a delayed start at 8 a.m. Friday.

University of Texas at El Paso will begin its business day at 10 a.m.

Western Technical College is on a two-hour delay

White Sands Missile Range is closed for Friday.

William Beaumont Army Medical Center calls for a two hour late reporting on Jan. 4 for nonemergency essential personnel.

Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande employment offices will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday.

Ysleta Independent School District is on two-hour delayed opening for Friday

Wee Care Pre-School will begin operations at 9 a.m.

A Place to Grow daycare will open at 9 a.m.

Milan Institute of Technology starts at 10 a.m.

The Houchen Center is on a 2 hour delay.

Road Closures:

I-10 eastbound from mile marker 62 (Hudspeth County) to mile marker 135 (Van Horn)

I-10 westbound from mile marker 135 (Van Horn) to mile marker 62 (Hudspeth County)

Scenic Drive

Transmountain will be closed until 5 p.m. Friday

US-70 from NASA exit (mile post 161) to White Sands Missile Range exit (171).

US-70 at the San Augustine Pass
