Weather Record Broken In Borderland

February 28, 2006 —

If you were outside Tuesday, you felt it.

It was a very warm day, in fact a weather record was broke in the borderland.

It was 83 degrees in El Paso.

Folks were out-and-about and by the looks of it they didn't seem to mind the unseasonably warm temperatures.

Maybe partly because there was a nice breeze to go along with the spring like weather.

"I love it. It could be a little cooler but I love it, I think it's great," said Charles Orona, of West El Paso.

Las Cruces also hit a record high.

It was 81 degrees in the City of the Crosses Tuesday.
