From April 1 to Sept. 30, watering is permitted before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m. on designated days.
El Paso Water Utilities officials said properties with addresses that end in even numbers are allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. Those with addresses ending in odd numbers may be watered on Wednesdays, Fridays or Sundays. The watering days for parks, schools, cemeteries, golf courses and industrial sites are Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.
Anyone found in violation could be charged with a class C misdemeanor that can result in fines of up to $500 plus court costs.
