EL PASO, Texas —

Police investigators said they've arrested the suspects connected to a vehicle robbery that happened in east El Paso.

They also released the item that was stolen from inside the vehicle.

The robbery happened Wednesday in the 10600 block of Pico Norte.

An investigation revealed that Raul Rodriguez broke into a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and stole cigarettes from inside, said police.

Tomas Contreras, was with him, said police.

Rodriguez and Contreras were found and placed under arrest.

Contreras was in possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. Rodriguez was booked on the burglary and a theft charge.

Rodriguez's bonds totaled $6,000 and Contreras' bond was set at $750.

The cigarettes were recovered, said police.
