Vans Warped Tour Celebrates Its 17th Year

LAS CRUCES, N.M. —

The Vans Warped Tour, a widely known annual punk-rock event, started Wednesday in Las Cruces, N.M.

The longest-running touring festival in North America celebrated it's 17th year with various performances.

The Vans Warped Tour has brought another culture of punk-rock, skating and action sports enthusiasts to the youth scene.

Alternative Press readers voted the tour "Best Tour/Festival" of 2009 and Rolling Stone called it "America's most successful festival."

Bands included: The Expendables, Go Radio, 3OH!3, A Day To Remember, Asking Alexandria, Less Than Jake, The Devil Wears Prada, Pepper, Against Me!, Attack Attack!, Paramore, D.R.U.G.S., Jack's Mannequin, Gym Class Heroes, Unwritten Law, Yelawolf, Simple Plan, Relient K, The Aggrolites, and many more.
