EL PASO, Texas —
Jacob Moreno, who was a sophomore, was in his English class when he collapsed.
University officials haven't released what caused Moreno to fall.
Moreno was taken to a hospital, where emergency officials tried to resuscitate him but weren't successful, said school officials.
This was Moreno's second term at UTEP. He was pursuing a degree in the College of Business Administration.
The Office of Student Life is coordinating efforts to assist students, faculty and staff with support and resources needed given the situation.
