EL PASO, Texas —

Miner football fans can avoid battling traffic or hunting for a parking space by riding Sun Metro’s ROUTE 204.

This year’s season opener against Stony Brook begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.

Fans can park for $5 at the Union Plaza Transit Terminal, 400 W. San Antonio, and buy a roundtrip bus pass for $3 per person.

Children 5 and under ride free, and must be accompanied by an adult. Reduced bus fares are available for students, seniors and disabled passengers with a valid Sun Metro ID.

Riders are reminded to have exact change for Route 204.

Sun Metro will begin trips from the Union Plaza Transit Terminal to UTEP two hours before kickoff. Riders will be dropped off at the Glory Road Transfer Center. Return trips will begin at the end of the 3rd quarter.
