CLOSURES
The westbound Zaragoza ExitRamp will remainclosed for the duration of the project to allow for the construction of a temporary entrance ramp.
Those wanting to exit I-10 westbound to Zaragoza Rd. will need to use the previous exit ramp which is the Loop 375 Exit Ramp (Exit 34).
COMPLETE CLOSURES:
The following complete closures will be in place Monday, February 6 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Gateway West from R.V. Drive to DonHaskins Dr.
North to westbound Clover Ramp from Joe Battle Blvd. to Gateway West
SouthtoWest Ramp from Joe Battle Blvd. to Gateway West
ALL of the above closures are necessary to hang beams, column and cap construction, place temporary signals, and construct drainage.
I-10/SCHUSTER RAMP PROJECT:
Project Details: TXDOT
This important project for UTEP and the City of El Paso is designed to relieve current traffic congestion at the Schuster Avenue Interchange on I-10 westbound and Schuster Avenue. The project extends along I-10 approximately 0.7 miles west from Schuster Avenue and 0.5 miles east from Schuster Avenue and includes interchange and ramp improvements. The project is set to be completed by April, 2012.
Expect a westbound right lane closure on I-10 from the Porfirio Exit Ramp to the Schuster Exit Ramp
Monday, February 6 through Wednesday, February 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Expect a westbound left lane closure on I-10 from the Porfirio Exit Ramp to the Schuster Exit Ramp
Wednesday, February 8 through Friday, February 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Alternate left and right lane closures on Schuster Ave. between the Schuster / Sun Bowl Intersection and I-10
Main St. between Yandell St. and the westbound Schuster Exit Ramp

Expect a moving traffic operation on I-10 between the Sunland Park Overpass and the Mesa Overpass on Sunday, February 5 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
Crews will have temporary lane closures on Monday, February 6 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. They will begin eastbound on I-10 between the Trowbridge Exit Ramp and the Lee Trevino Overpass.
Crews will then turnaround and head westbound on I-10 to the Paisano Exit Ramp.
Repairs will be performed on the traffic management equipment.
