Traffic Checkpoint Helps Catch Alleged Bank Robber

EL PASO, Texas —

The search for a man in connection with the robbery at Chase Bank located on Wren Street was found.

Border Patrol agents arrested the alleged suspect wanted for an armed robbery at the Chase Bank on Monday at a traffic checkpoint near Las Cruces.

The 18-year-old alleged suspect was identified at a checkpoint near Las Cruces, N.M., by Border Patrol agents on Interstate 25.

The suspect was caught with a small amount of marijuana in a blue 1996 Chevrolet Silverado.
