SIERRA BLANCA, Texas —

The accident has caused the closure on Interstate 10 near Sierra Blanca has been cleared up. 

Debris that was scattered along Interstate 10 when a multiple vehicle accident happened was cleaned up. 

KFOX14 photographer Rudy Reyes was at the scene and said three semi-trucks and a one pickup truck was involved in the crash on Interstate 10 West near Sierra Blanca.

A person involved in the crash told Reyes that the pickup truck driver tried overcorrecting to avoid an accident but failed and rolled over.

That’s when three semi-trucks heading westbound crash when they tried to avoid an accident.  

Cargo that was being transported within one of the semi-trucks was scattered across the roadway.

According to TXDOT officials, some type of adhesive, “Liquid Nails” that is used for construction, was on its way to California.

At this time the mess is being cleaned up. I-10 is now open to the traveling public, said traffic officials.

There were no life-threatening injuries reported.

Three people were taken to the hospital to be treated.
