Teens Caught Bringing Cocaine To El Paso

Customs and Border Protection officers took two teens into custody for allegedly trying to smuggle 50 pounds of cocaine on Monday.

Officers said the 17-year-old boy and girl were driving over the Paso Del Norte bridge when a drug-sniffing dog alerted them to the rear seat.

There officers said they found 17 cocaine-filled bundles from the car.

The teens, both from Juarez, were turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff's Department.
