February 26, 2006 —

Dona Ana Sheriff Deputies are continuing their search for four suspects in an Anthony, New Mexico Stabbing.

Deputies say it happened near Acosta and Kalar Avenue, Saturday evening while four teenagers walked along the street. That's when deputies say four others jumped out of a green Dodge Neon and attacked the others.

A 16-year-old was stabbed in the back in the incident. Sunday evening he remained in stable condition.

The victim told deputies he is not a gang member, but he told deputies he remembers his attackers shouting gang names.
