A Las Cruces teen charged with stabbing her mother and sister will have to remain behind bars.
That decision came from a judge Wednesday.
The 16-year-old was taken into custody Monday after her mother and her sister were stabbed multiple times.
Also in court were several members of the Mayfield community, where the girls go to school and play basketball.
The accused teenager was not there, but in court papers she denies the allegations.
