Teacher Arrested On Suspicion Of Dealing Drugs

El PASO, Texas —

A Gadsden School District special education teacher was arrested for allegedly dealing cocaine.

Officials said David Munoz, 52, of Anthony, N.M., was arrested after meeting with undercover agents and taking money after he delivered 50 kilograms of cocaine.

FBI officials said Munoz traveled several times between New Mexico, Texas and Mexico to meet with the undercover agents.

He is scheduled to be in federal court Monday morning.

If he is found guilty he could face up to 20 years in prison.
