EL PASO, Texas —

Former El Paso County Sheriff's detective Sergio Reyes, who was out of bail on four counts of prostitution promotion, was arrested Friday on four additional counts of promotion of prostitution, officials said.

Reyes, 59, was alleged to have preyed on women who were filing for a divorce at the El Paso County Courthouse.

Sheriff's officials said the additional charges were related to solicitations of sexual favors in exchange for money that were also done at the county courthouse.

Reyes was booked into the county detention center with bail set at $8,000.
