EL PASO, Texas —
The Sun Metro ticket office at the Eastside Transit Terminal will close Thursday to allow for renovations.
The ticket office located at 1165 Sunmount Drive is expected to reopen around 1 p.m. the same day, if possible, officials said. The office will return to regular business hours on Friday.
Officials said temporary closures are expected later in the month.
Sun Metro passengers are asked to purchase weekly passes on any of the buses or monthly passes at the Downtown Transfer Center on 601 Santa Fe St.
Construction of the Eastside Transit Terminal began in August 2012, and it is expected to be completed by the end of January. Slight delays in bus service may occur during the construction, officials said.
