String of robberies have police hunting for thief

EL PASO, Texas —

Police are attempting to identify a man involved in three aggravated robberies in three months.

The first robbery happened at the Check N Go on Viscount Boulevard in December 2012, the second at EZ Money Loan on Zaragoza Road in January and at the Check N Go on Lee Trevino Drive in February.

Police said the robber went into each store, waved a handgun and demanded money.

The robber is described as a male that is between 5 foot 8 inches and 5 foot 10 inches. He has a slim to medium build and wears a dark hoodie jacket, sunglasses, baseball cap, jeans and black tennis shoes.

He may have a type of ski mask and a bag or purse. Police said that at one point, he wore a Boston baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call police at 915-832-4400.
