EL PASO, Texas —

More than 800 pounds of marijuana was seized last week during two stash house raids, said El Paso police.

On Jan. 2 at a home in the 11100 block of Harvest Drive in Socorro, police said they found 628 bundles of marijuana inside the home, and 534 marijuana bundles inside of a vehicle parked outside.

Brenda Rocio Peña, 36, Ricardo Lujan, 39, and Salvador Del Villar, 21, of Juárez, were arrested.

Peña, Lujan and Del Villar each face charges of marijuana possession over 50 pounds/under 2,000 pounds. They were booked into the El Paso County Jail, where Peña's bond was set at $50,000, while Lujan's bond was set at $100,000. Del Villar's bond was set at $150,000.

About 30 minutes after the first raid, police found 90 bundles of marijuana during a raid at a home in the 9400 block of Chantilly Drive in the Lower Valley.

Police said the 90 marijuana bundles, which were found in the home's bedroom, had a total weight of 102 pounds.

Police arrested two residents of the home, Martin J. Salazar and Maribel Garcia Salazar, both 28, on suspicion of marijuana possession over 50 pounds/under 2,000 pounds.

Both were booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds of $20,000 each.
