Police detained a juvenile boy they said stabbed a 31-year-old woman in the arm.
Around 1:20 a.m. Thursday, police said the 15-year-old boy had an argument with the female victim.
The argument escalated to the point where the juvenile produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm, police said.
KFOX14 Morning News crews were first on the scene along Billie Marie Drive in the area of George Dieter and Lomaland.
The boy was taken to the Juvenile Probation Department, and the victim was treated at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
When our crews tried to get more information from the victim's family, they refused to talk to our morning reporter.
