As our Chief Meteorologist Sandra Diaz warned, the borderland got extremely cold and received snow Wednesday night.
The KFOX Severe Weather Center began noticing snow around 6:30 p.m on Wednesday.
There were also winds up to 45 mph and the wind chill factor brought temperatures down below 30 degrees.
As of Wednesday night, the El Paso area is in a snow advisory until 3 a.m
