Snow Leaves Socorro, Horizon With Slick, Muddy Roads

EL PASO, Texas —

Far East El Paso county areas like Horizon and Socorro got snow fall early Monday morning.

The snow was heavy enough to accumulate on roof tops and cars. It didn't stick on the roads, but it created hazardous road conditions.

One driver had to be pulled out of the mud off Northloop Drive by a good samaritan.

"I just came to drop off my in-laws and I had no idea, I never imagined it was this far," said the driver.

The El Paso Sheriff's Office urge motorist to use caution when driving and if you don't need to go anywhere they recommend you stay indoors.
