Smoking In Military High Among 18 to 25-Year Olds

The Department of Defense released new statistics about smoking among service members. Data shows that males ages 18-25 smoke and use tobacco at higher rates than any other age group in the military. Officials have taken steps toward reducing the number of smokers in the military. They have issued smoking bans and have made the cost of tobacco products the same as if service members bought them off-post.
