Attorneys presented opening statements in El Paso's latest murder trial Monday.
Ricardo Avendano, 25, is charged with murder in the shooting death of 22- year-old Claudia Mojarro at Smokey's Pit Stop on North Lee Trevino, in August of 2004.
Avendano's attorney argues the shooting was accidental, while prosecutors say he knew what he was doing when he got into an argument at the bar, went to get a gun, and opened fire.
