Six men charged with April 18 Cincinnati stabbing

EL PASO, Texas —

Six men are facing engaging in organized criminal activity charges in connection with an altercation in the Cincinnati Entertainment District on April 18. 

The investigation revealed that victim Estiban Villa, 19, was confronted by Gilbert Politz, 24, and engaged in a physical confrontation with Politz, police said. 

Police said Politz left the area and returned with Adrian Guzman, 23, Luis Maldonado, 22, Martin Robledo, 23, Felipe Lerma, 23, and Jacob Cervantes, 26. 

The six men worked together to assault Villa, which resulted in the victim getting stabbed 11 times in the chest and abdomen area, police said. Villa suffered two collapsed lungs and was transported to an area hospital. 

Police arrested the six men and charged them with engaging in organized criminal activity – criminal attempt murder. They were all booked in the El Paso County Jail with bail set at $100,000 each.
