Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office

DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. —

One of the men sought by Dona Ana County authorities turned himself in. He is accused of sexually assaulting a minor, said sheriff's deputies.

Marcos Anthony Moncayo, 22, was wanted on charges that he gave alcohol to two teenage sisters and sexually assaulted one of them, according to deputies.

Moncayo, who was accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in Thursday evening.

According to court documents, Moncayo and another unidentified man met the two 14-year-old twin sisters at their home last weekend.

The girls told investigators they met the men on a social networking website and had originally claimed to be 20 years old, but reportedly confessed to Moncayo that they were underage.

Investigators allege the men went to the home, gave the girls alcohol and then engaged in sexual intercourse with one of the girls.

Moncayo was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond, charged with 10 felony counts, including criminal sexual penetration in the third degree, criminal sexual contact of a minor in the third degree, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, conspiracy to commit selling or giving alcohol to a minor, conspiracy to commit criminal sexual penetration of a minor in the third degree and conspiracy to contribute to the delinquency of a minor.
