Money from the Federal Government will allow Ruidoso to start seasonal flights between the Sierra Blanca Regional Airport and the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.
Senator Pete Domenici says the Federal Aviation Administration agreed to provide $600,000 for the "Fly Ruidoso" proposal.
The idea is to bring seasonal American Eagle flights to Lincoln County by June of next year.
