Residents Return To Devastation

HOBBS, New Mexico —

Hobbs residents returned to their town after wildfires forced them out of their homes.

As KFOX reported Friday, flames broke near the Texas border.

Thick brush, high grasses and strong winds fueled the flames and forced homeowners to flee.

Officials said at least four homes have been destroyed.

The fire burned more than 30,000 acres and investigators do not know how it started.
