I'll tell you about a coffeemaker carafe that poses a burn hazard, and a toy chest that could strangle a child. But up first in this weeks KFOX Recall Alert, Tiki Bamboo Torches.

Lamplight Farms is recalling 963,000 Tiki Bamboo Torches and 18,000 replacement canisters. The surface coating of some flame guards on the torches and replacement canisters, can absorb the fuel and ignite, which poses a burn and fire danger. Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Lowe's were among the stores that sold these tiki bamboo torches from last December until last month.

About 3,300 Stork Craft Toy Boxes have been recalled. The box's lid support can fail, allowing the lid to collapse suddenly. This poses a strangulation hazard to young children, and possible impact injuries to a child's head, neck, fingers or hands. Wal-Mart, J-C Penney and other retailers sold these recalled toy boxes from December, 2002 until this past April.

Finally, West Bend Housewares is recalling 14,000 10-cup Coffeemaker Carafes. The carafe handle can unexpectedly loosen or break, causing the carafe to fall, which could cause a variety of potential injuries. Armed Forces department stores, Dillards and others sold the West Bend coffeemakers across the country, from July of last year until this July.
