EL PASO, Texas —

Police arrested a woman Tuesday evening they said was driving drunk and had cocaine hidden in a folded dollar bill.

Rosario Tarin was driving a white 1999 Chrysler Concorde on US-54 when she braked suddenly and pulled into the emergency lane in front of a patrol car, police said. When she was approached by an officer, he noticed that Tarin showed signs of intoxication.

Tarin, 36, was also found with less than 1 gram of cocaine hidden in her purse, police said.

Tarin was charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content greater than or equal to .15 percent and possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into the El Paso County Jail with bail set at $2,430
