El Paso Police Departmnent
EL PASO, Texas —
A 15-year-old boy who police said tried burglarizing a Northeast El Paso home Monday afternoon was detained.
Around 2:28 p.m. police arrived on the 5400 block of Prince Edward and found that several items had been taken from the home. They were able to find the the teen nearby, said police.
The boy was referred to the Juvenile Detention Facility on suspicion of burglary of habitation. Police said they expect to make more arrests in the case.
