Police: Suspect had child pornography on cellphone

EL PASO, Texas —
Police arrested a 46-year-old man after they found him with child pornography on his cellphone, police said.
On Dec. 5, police conducted a search warrant on Pedro Rendon's cellphone.
Police said they found visual material that depicted a child under 18 engaging in sexual conduct.
Police then acquired an warrant for Rendon's arrest.
Rendon was arrested for possession of child pornography, and he was booked on Monday at the El Paso County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
