Four men are behind bars after a police pursuit in Downtown El Paso.
According to police the four men were traveling down Campbell Street just before 11:00 Friday night when police noticed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
The unit tried to pull the truck over but the driver allegedly sped off and ran through two red lights.
The police chase ended several blocks away on San Antonio Street.
That is where investigators say Mark Anthony Martinez tried to hit a police officer with the truck.
He is now charged with aggravated assault.
One passenger faces harassment of a public official.
Two others were booked for evading arrest.
