Police: Overnight Robberies May Be Related

LAS CRUCES, N.M. —

Las Cruces police are investigating a pair of overnight robberies they believe are related

The first happened at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Triviz Drive when a 20-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint by a man who demanded her purse, police said.

The woman told police that he then jumped into a waiting dark, mid-size SUV and fled.

At around the same time, just a short distance away, police said a 27-year-old man was attacked by three other men who demanded money.

If you have any information about these robberies, call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 575-526-8000.
