EL PASO, Texas —

A tip to local authorities led to the discovery of adults allegedly smoking marijuana with a baby in the room. 

On Monday, El Paso County Sheriff's deputies entered an apartment at 7863 San Jose Road.

There investigators said they found Ray Gonzalez and Bobbie Lowell along with an infant inside a room where marijuana smoke filled the air.

Investigators also said they found marijuana inside Gonzalez, Lowell and Lilly Ramirez's bedrooms.

All three were booked into the El Paso County Jail with a $250 bond set for each.

The 6-month-old was placed in a family member's custody .

The Texas Department of Family & Child Protective Services was alerted of the case, said deputies.
