Police: Man Arrested For Past Eastside Burglaries

EL PASO, Texas —

El Paso Police said they arrested an Eastside man on suspicion of stealing property from vehicles.

Raul Sanchez, 21, was found by police Monday afternoon on Montana Avenue when police said they were responding to a criminal trespass call.

Police said Sanchez had an outstanding theft warrant and was in possession of stolen property at the time.

Authorities said Sanchez was responsible for two burglaries of vehicles on the Eastside during the past week.

Sanchez was booked on the outstanding theft warrant and two counts of burglary of a vehicle. His bond was set at more than $5,000.
