EL PASO, Texas —
Police investigators released a description of the man they believe robbed two Circle K stores.
Two east side Circle K stores were robbed at gunpoint within hours of each other Thursday morning.
The first armed robbery happened at a Circle K on Montwood Drive at around 2:30 a.m., police said.
According to officers, a second Circle K at George Dieter and Trawood was robbed just before 5 a.m.
KFOX 14 crews arrived to the scene as police were canvassing the area and taking statements from employees.
El Paso police said they do believe the two incidents are related.
The robber is described as a Hispanic in his 30s. They said he is heavy set, bald and last seen wearing a dark-colored sweat shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
Anybody with information regarding the robberies is asked to call the police at 915-832-4400 or to remain anonymous 915-566-8477.
