EL PASO, TX —

El Paso Police are investigating a pedestrian crash that happened early Saturday morning in east El Paso.

Police spokesperson Darrel Petry said a 19-year-old male was hit by a vehicle just before 4 a.m. at the 11100 block of Montana. He said the driver of the vehicle--which is said to be a gray or silver car-- made a right turn from Wooster onto Montana, hitting the teen. The driver left the scene.

The victim was taken to Del Sol Medical Center, where he is said to be in critical condition.

Petry said the car involved in the accident should have body damage to the left side of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Crimestoppers at 566-8477.

The investigation continues.
