El Paso police said they responded to a shots fired call at the Player's Club on the 4000 block of Dyer street just after midnight on Saturday.

Police later learned that a fight happened inside the club and then one individual pulled out a handgun and fired one shot into the ceiling and then another shot into the wall.

As the fight continued, one 28-year-old man was shot in the back and then another 24-year-old man was hit in the head with a bottle, officials said.

According to police, the 28-year-old was transported to William Beaumont Army Medical Center and the 24-year-old was transported to Providence Memorial Hospital.

The Crimes Against Persons Gang Unit is investigating and asks anyone with information to call 832-4400 or if you'd like to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 566-8477.
