Police find marijuana, cocaine in pockets of wanted man

EL PASO, Texas —

A wanted man was found with four small bags on cocaine and a bag of marijuana in his pockets while police were executing an arrest warrant, police said.

Around 8 p.m. Monday, police were executing the warrant on the 100 block of Marquita Lane.

Police made contact with Aron Adame, who was wanted for an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and found him to be in possession of drugs.

Police removed a small bag of marijuana and another bag containing four smaller baggies of cocaine from Adame’s pockets.

Adame, 30, was arrested for the outstanding warrant as well as possession of a controlled substance over 4 grams, under 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

His bail totaled $80,300.
