A car was found in a ditch earlier Tuesday, at the 100 block of Mulberry.
After running the license plates, police discovered the car had been stolen five days ago.
Witnesses said they saw a Hispanic man wearing a white T-shirt running away from the car.
The car belongs to a substitute teacher and was stolen from the parking lot of a nearby school.
