EL PASO, Texas —

Update: El Paso Police officials posted on Twitter around 10 p.m. Monday that Ricardo and Martha Beltran were found in Sierra Blanca and that "they appear OK."

Original Story: The family of an elderly couple missing since Saturday afternoon is asking the public for help with finding their loved ones.

Ricardo and Martha Beltran, 75, went for a drive on Saturday afternoon, and have not been seen or heard from since.

"It's very typical of them to go driving on weekends; they'll go out on Saturday mornings, and if they want to stay somewhere, they'll always call and communicate with one of their daughters. This time, there was no communication; not even the cellphone works," said Olga Martinez, the sister of Martha Beltran.

The Beltrans' daughter Belinda Arnold told KFOX14 that she last spoke to her mother Saturday morning, but hasn't heard from them since.

"My sister had mentioned that they had taken off for a little drive, and so we left it at that because they do that. It's very regular that they like to go out for a drive," Arnold said. "That afternoon, I called her around 1 p.m. to see if she wanted to go have our breakfast that we have on Sunday, and there was no answer."

Ricardo Beltran is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, a medium-build Hispanic man with salt and pepper hair, and was last seen wearing a light blue sweater, brown slacks and white sneakers.

Martha Beltran is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, a medium-build Hispanic woman with yellowish blond hair, and was last seen wearing a cream colored sweater, blue jeans and brown shoes.

The vehicle the couple was driving is a 2005 white Hyundai Tucson with Texas license plate DBF-247

Family members told KFOX14 they are desperate to find the couple quickly.

"I just pray that people will see this and try to help and if they notice a couple in danger or in need of help they will notify us immediately because he is ill. He was supposed to be at dialysis today -- he's diabetic, and he needs his medicines, so we're just hoping we find them very soon," Arnold said.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the police immediately.
