EL PASO, Texas —

Three El Pasoans were arrested in connection to a beer run at a convenience store on the east side.

Rudy Armendariz; 36, Fernando Igancio; 37 and Ashley Anne Guillen; 30 were charged with theft over $50 but under $500.

Around 9 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a beer run at the 7-Eleven at 599 N. Yarbrough Dr.

While police were en route they spotted the alleged getaway car, said a spokesman for the department.

They said police officers pulled over the 2005 Silver 4-door Dodge Neon and conducted an investigation.

They discovered that Armendariz and Ignacio had stolen two 30-packs of beer. According to police, Guillen knew that the two were committing the crime and was the driver.
