Police Arrest Teens Accused Of Throwing Bricks At Cars In Northeast Neighborhood

El Paso, TEXAS —

A group of teens were arrested Monday night for allegedly throwing bricks out of a car in a northeast El Paso neighborhood.

Just before 11 p.m., police said, five teens were seen throwing bricks at several cars on the 5100 block of Joe Herrera Drive, Roanoke Street. and Morning Glory Street.

Several vehicles received major damage, said police.

The five were stopped by police on the 4400 block of Hercules and pieces of bricks were found inside the vehicle.

The two 17-year-olds were booked into the El Paso County Jail on criminal mischief over $1,500.

The three 16-year-olds were turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department on the criminal mischief charges.

The total damage estimated was $2,300.
