Plan In Works for Chaparral Animals

May 27, 2006 —

KFOX uncovers new information on hundreds of animals found in Chaparral.

As reported exclusively by KFOX, Dona Ana Sheriff deputies are preparing to remove over 80 dogs and 30 cats from a piece of property in Chaparral.

Friday night the owner of the property, Father Louis Ashley, spoke exclusively to KFOX.

He says he has signed over all of his rights of the animals to the sheriff's office so he can not allow anyone to adopt them.

The sheriff's office is expected to announce their plans to care for the animals on Tuesday.
