Operation Sandstorm nets 181 federal, state fugitives

EL PASO, Texas —
A weeklong operation seeks out nearly 300 wanted federal and state felony fugitives, said the U.S. Department of Defense.
The U.S. Department of Defense said Operation Sandstorm II ended with the arrest of 181 subjects and the clearance of 335 warrants.
More than 80 law enforcement officers from 11 different agencies worked on the operation.
Officers said those who are wanted should expect more sweeps like these this to come.
