El Paso police said an anonymous tip led to an early morning drug bust on Wednesday morning. Police told KFOX around 5:30 a.m. that the narcotics unit responded to the Best Western hotel at 7144 Gateway East. Officers said they simply knocked on the door of a room, stepped inside, and discovered the drugs.
At least two people were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
According to police, children were also found in the same room that the drugs were in. They were taken to stay with family members.
Undercover and uniformed officers participated in the operation, as well as K-9 units.
